The VHG Card™ is the only completely portable electronic device that allows you to access your insurance information or critical medical information without the need of a computer or reader. And it is paperless and without risk of spreading a virus to the reader’s computer. The card is seamlessly integrated with our Personal Health Record. This integration allows the downloading of the Personal Health Record summary components directly to the card for easy sharing with the doctor’s office personnel or with EMTs and emergency room physicians in case of emergencies or a language barrier. With VHG Card™, information such as health plan type, covered services, copay and deductibles, emergency contacts, physician information, allergies, blood type, medications, immunization records, critical medical and surgical history, and a photo ID to deter fraud and ensure accurate identification is literally at the fingertips of the patient and the provider.
